This was not on a W’2 but on a 1099 as an independant contrator. The company I used to work for is no longer in buisness and I have no way of getting in touch with my former employor to correct this. Is there an other way besides hiring an attorney I can handle this? I really do not have the cash right now for attorney. What do I do? According to the IRS they recommend an attorney. Please help
