Interview elsewhere.
1. It will boost your self-confidence, assuming you find offers that meet your expectations (or it will teach you that you are being paid appropriately)
2. In a small firm, where there is a not lot of turnover, the management may not be aware of the changing market conditions. When you are ready to discuss your raise, you will come with knowledge of the market and the ability to walk away if you do not get what you want.
start a conversation about what your entitlements are and go from there. if you feel unhappy about the result try not to say to much just look for another job and make sure you get things of importance down in writting next time.
