Um…you do know that there are job boards for lawyer positions, no? And all medium and large law firms are looking for new first year associates…though most of those positions are filled by now. Send out resumes to law firms in the area that you want to go to. Lexis lets you search through firms. See if there are in alums from your school in the area — they can usually point you in the right direction.
Contact your school’s career office. They should be able to give you more of a solid lead.
Sadly I heard that in Wisconsin the market was pretty well saturated and that graduates were having an awefully tough time getting into firms. Maybe you should kick your foot in the door in a corporation somewhere for awhile. Passing the bar exam looks awesome on a corporate resume.
