The IRS is investigating my tax preparer. They want to meet with me. Should I go or get an attorney?

I know that I’m liable for all taxes regardless of who prepares the forms. It seems to me that if I help them (the IRS) I hurt no prescription online pharmacy myself, although they say that I am not under investigation. What do you think?

If you did not cheat on your taxes, and I am sure you know if you did or not, you have nothing to worry about.
I would get an attorney to handle any investigation with the IRS. You are opening yourself up to them investigating your returns as well. You dont want have to pay penalties and interest to them.
Look over your last couple years’ returns. If there is anything there that isn’t legit, then you will be paying some extra tax. The tax preparer is probably being investigated for padding clients’ refunds. You don’t hurt yourself – that’s already been done if yours was padded.
No reason at this point for YOU to hire an attorney.
