What is the best solution to resolve a matter of an attorney who is not qualified?
I had signed an agreement with an attorney who stated after serveral months that he was not qualified to handle my case. He had failed to inform his law partners and now has pressed me in a resolution that is not in my best interest. I am considering hiring another lawyer to represent me to releive my finanical obligation with my current lawyer. The case is still pending that the wrong lawyer was hired for. He is on a contingent basis and so would the new lawyer have to be. I am asking how to proceed in this matter. The cheap online pharmacy outcome could be worth 10,000 dollars to me and the lawyer or law firm. I am unemployed and have no means to pay or borrow funds to acquire a lawyer. I am open to guidance and well thoughtout response.

First, find a new lawyer, a good one. Tell him your story. Tell him everything, the good and the bad. If he agrees to handle your case, he will deal with the old lawyer. He will know exactly how to do it. If what you say is true, it will probably involve not reporting the old lawyer in exchange for him releasing you from your contract. But let your new lawyer worry about that.
Fire him…
I would report him to the Amercan Bar Association and request an AV rated attorney to take your case.
You can go to another attorney, which is the fastest resolution.
You can also report him through the local bar association. They will take action on your behalf.
Yes, do get another attorney and report this guy to the bar.
simple go to the judge on your own and tell him the problem and then hire and have the new lawyer ask for a contiuance to review the case and then contact the state bar assocation about the dismissed attorney also his incompetance is grounds for another lawsuit tell the new attorney and the local bar association can recommend the new guys good luck
you should write him a letter stating that according to him he was not qualified to handle your case per your .be it by mail he conversed with you or by telephone state exactly how he told you he was not qualified.send it to him by registered mail and keep the receipt.keep a copy for yourself.oh by the way get two people to witness this document by signature and have it notarized .this service is usually free at your bank.the letter should also state that since he is not qualified he is terminated and so is your contractual agreement with him.get another attorney right away and give him a copy of the old lawyers agreement and a copy of your letter terminating your old attorney be sure to include in the letter the date of termination which will be as Soon as you can write the letter get it notarized
and sent off by registered mail.
