very serious minded with little deviation prescription drugs online without prescription from being "strickly business." What makes them like this? Is it law school or precisely what? They hardly ever laugh. They seem tense for the most part, why?

First of all, everyone at law firms has generally been tense for over a year because of all of the layoffs, salary freezes, paycuts, prospects of additional layoffs resulting in the loss of their job which all stem from the recession.
In general, lawyers generate revenue for the firm by performing work for the firm’s clients and charging the clients by the hour or increment of an hour down measured in tenths of an hour (6 minute intervals). The number of hours they bill to clients is largely how they are valued and evaluated by the law firm so the pressure to bill lots of hours (often over 2,400 hours a year) is quite high. On top of that, just like most employees, they have administrative work, have to attend continuing legal education classes, and have to read professional journals and attend seminars to keep abreast of current legal issues in their practice area. That leaves very little time in the workday to be idle or relax, and most of them would rather spend what little time is left in the day to attend to or enjoy their personal lives outside the office.
they live to work, they have no life.
Previous-poster "happypitbull" is right on target.
