Why do US attorneys seem to be the worst about returning phone calls?
In working with many different business professionals, I am not alone when I observe that — if you are looking for someone who will call you back reliably, DON’T choose an attorney. Are their schedules just the busiest of all professionals in American business such that there is a great LACK of attorneys on the market and that they CAN’T call you back because they are busy with their other appointments? Or is it they are apprehensive about why you are calling, perhaps buy antibiotics online to sue or engage in other proposed legal action?
Besides spending lots of money on television commercials, are attorneys attempting to MARKET their services better by providing CONSISTENT customer service and reliability? Or are they above it all such that these considerations are for people beneath them….but not certainly a LAWYER?

I don’t think the average lay person knows just how busy attorneys are. That’s all. It has nothing to do with anyone being "beneath" anyone else. Plenty of us make nice 6-figure salaries but make minimum wage (or less) when you look at the hours worked. THAT is busy.
I promise all clients they get an attorney call-back within 24 hours. That is a huge deal. New clients don’t think this is very exciting, but clients who have had other lawyers know it is.
